I haven’t always tracked my reading. I would forget what books I’ve read, forget what authors I like. Organizing my reading life with my reading tracker has been a huge help in keeping track of everything reading.

Reading has always been one of my favorite ways to relax. It helps me recharge and escape the chaos of everyday life. This is especially needed as a busy mom. I always try to find time to read. It could be a few quiet minutes before bed. Sometimes, it’s during a rare uninterrupted afternoon. Over the past few months, I’ve made it a habit to read almost every single day. It’s become one of the most important parts of my self-care routine.

That’s why I created this Free Printable Reading Tracker — and I’m so excited to share it with you!

📖 Why I Track My Reading

I tend to fly through books quickly. I can finish them in just 3 to 7 days. This depends on how much reading I get in during the week. Some months I read a ton. Other times I squeeze in a few chapters here and there. No matter what, I’m always working my way through a book.

Because I read so many, I needed a simple way to:

This reading log helps me do just that. It’s a one-page printable that lets me jot down the title, author, rating, and any notes I want to remember (like “must read the sequel!” or “love this author’s style”).

💗 Reading = Me Time

Reading is one of the few things I do completely for myself. It’s my quiet escape — no screens, no noise, just a good book and a cozy spot. Most nights, I wind down by reading before bed. It helps calm my mind and ease the mental load from the day.

Lately, I’ve been diving into hockey romance novels — and I’m obsessed. I’ve already finished three full series and a few standalone books. If you’re into romance and need a new genre to binge, definitely check them out!
